My Own Romance v1 #68, 1959 - An ambitious model longs for something more in life, while another woman searches for her ideal man. Matt Baker's style is evident in both stories, despite the lack of credit. Unfortunately, his pencils are considerably watered down by Vince Colletta's inking. Certain faces and figures are poorly delineated. Baker's layouts do remain intact and are generally pleasing (see interior page below). Other artists in this golden age comic include Russ Heath and Jay Scott Pike.
