Gang Busters #14 - Frank Frazetta art

Gang Busters #14, 1950 - One of Frank Frazetta's earlier works for DC, a mounted policeman proves the worth of his hardworking horse. While imperfect, the artist's equine drawings are impressive and far advanced of most of his peers. The panels are adequately detailed, with the most definition relegated to the horse. To Frazetta's credit, even the crowd scenes on pages 3-4 (see interior page above) show no lack of effort or enthusiasm. This is number 1 of 2 Gang Busters issues with Frazetta art and/or covers.
